Living Food Cures: Book Review



Today, I have the privelege of sharing with you a book that I found full of information about living foods and very inspirational.  Living Food Cures:  The Amazing Stories of 11 People Who Beat Disease Using Raw and Whole Foods, "Cancer, Lupus, Arthritis, Bi-Polar, Multiple Sclerosis and More...Gone."  Once you begin reading this book you will not want to put it down.

The author of Living Food Cures is The Living Food Reporter, Mr. Joe Farinaccio.  Here is a little information about The Living Food Reporter in his own words.

The Living Food Reporter is a pen name. As writer of the book "Living Food Cures: The Amazing Stories of 11 People Who Beat Serious Disease Using Raw & Whole Foods" ... and information publisher of this companion website ... this name is easier to remember than my Italian-derived last name.
I'm a raw food enthusiast (mostly anyhow) who became completely entranced by the understanding that what we put into our bodies can have such a tremendous impact on health (and even recovery from serious illness).  After researching this topic over a long period of time, I finally decided to write about it. I especially wanted to feature inspiring true stories about individuals who have overcome serious illness and reversed disease ... as their bodies healed themselves with the help of a nutritional approach to wellness.
Living Food Cures, has 11 amazing true stories of people who were healed of disease by changing their diets to a plant-based diet.  "The premise of this book is fairly simple.  Consuming the right kinds of foods and shunning the wrong ones can pave the way to health and possibly even help the body heal itself from chronic, severe or debilitating diseases."

Living Food Cures is relevant for today, because people are sicker now than ever before.  The cancer rates are sky rocketing and disease and death are all around us.  Living Food Cures shows us through 11 people that you can take charge of your health and be healed.

A Few Golden Nuggets from Living Food Cures
  • The key to health and weight loss is eating vegetables, fruits, beans and nuts, plus other raw whole foods -- with vegetables at the top of the list. Page 46
  • If you want to avoid health problems such as cancer, heart disease, high-blood pressure and diabetes then you should avoid all meat and dairy products.  Shunning unhealthy foods and ingesting the right ones may significantly impact your health.  To put things even more simply, the more green salads you consume the greater the odds of you living much longer. Page 47

I am very inspired even the more to continue on my raw food journey, learn as much as I can and help anyone who wants help.  There is awesome information in this book about living foods, dead foods, juicing and so much more.  There is no reason why you can't be in good health and free from disease.  But hey, the ball is in your court or should I say the fork is in your court.

I highly recommend you read Living Food Cures.  After reading this book you will look at your health and the food you eat in a whole new light.
