How to Make a Healthy Italian Dressing

Tonight I made a wonderful Italian Dressing using a recipe from the Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine book, by Gabriel Cousens, MD.

After scanning the ingredient list, I thought to myself, "I'm not going to like this :(." Guess what? I love it and here is the recipe. You should give it a try, I'm sure you will love it too.

Be creative and add whatever your taste buds like.

1 large tomato
1 clove of garlic (I did not use garlic, used a little garlic powder)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon fresh basil
1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano (I did not have fresh, so I used dry (1 tsp))
1/2 teaspoon Celtic salt

In a blender, process all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
Makes 1 cup.
