10 Ways to Include more Raw Food in Your diet

Are you trying too figure out how to include more raw food in your diet? Here are 10 ways to rev up your raw intake.
  1. Replace your breakfast with a Green Smoothie - A green smoothie consist of some type of leafy Green, Fruit and water. Several Green Smoothie recipes can be found here:
  2. Having a salad? Make a yummy raw dressing too go on that - Pick one day out of the week to make a raw dressing for your salads. If you do this, you'll be on your way to upping your raw intake. Check out this website for recipes
  3. Need a snack? Snack on raw nuts and seeds - You can find raw nuts at your local natural health food stores. Also, check out my store for some flavored raw nut snacks
  4. Replace cow's milk with raw almond milk - Almond milk is so easy to make. Take two cups of water and one cup of Almonds, and 2-4 dates and blend. Remove pulp by pouring mixture through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth. Chill or drink right away.
  5. Replace sugar with Raw honey or Raw agave.
  6. Replace table salt with Sea Salt - Sea salt is full of minerals and life. Table salt is highly processed and doesn't provide any benefits to the human body.
  7. If you are out for Mexican, add an order of guacamole - Guacamole will almost always be raw as it is normally made with all raw ingredients.
  8. Traveling far? Take some dehydrated banana chips with you - Cut your banana into small sections place on a mesh dehydrator sheet and dehydrate at 105 overnight. You can make enough to last a week and it takes only 5 minutes to pop them in the dehydrator.
  9. Always carry a couple of your favorite raw food treats wherever you go. Check out my store for raw snacks.
